Koos De Ronde is a world renown four –in-hand driver from the Netherlands.  He has been on the Dutch team from 2010 -2024 for combined Driving and a competitor for FEI World cup indoor driving with many winnings.  Koos runs a driving training barn in Holland and the main activities of his business is training horses, breaking them into harness and organizing/coaching competitions.  Many of our world championship drivers have spent time at training at his facility before World Championship.  He has also been a trainer for many drivers here from the US.

This clinic is geared to learning how to drive better for Combined Driving and Pleasure Driving.  It will be a great tune up to events in the region. He will help guide you to learning better handling of your horse for recreational driving and in dressage, cones, and marathon. Ring work will be on Wednesday the 6 and 7th where you can include cones and the 8th will be group lesson in obstacles. Please make sure you walk the cones course and obstacles before your scheduled lesson. You will get more out of your lesson. Will try to be flexible for your needs. Please make sure you have a navigator on hand for obstacles.  Helmets and vest are required for Obstacle Driving.

 

There will be a cones course set up for practice or working with Koos. If you want help in cones – just ask Koos!. Please reset if you hit a cone !! It will all be on Chateau Log Fam.  (Preserving the WT dressage ring for the event.)

 

 

FEE:  $125 per lesson  Payable to” Salute To Driving “

 

We will help find stabling/paddocks for drivers from out of town---carriages can remain on site for weekend, just bring a cover. There will be no food on the grounds but a cooler full of water for everyone!   Please contact Lisa Singer 610-960-8695
